As the nation's largest recycler, Nucor keeps approximately 20 million tons of scrap steel out of America's landfills each year. Nucor's Sheet Mill in Hickman, Arkansas processes over two million of those tons.
Since 1992, Nucor Hickman has been producing some of the world's finest hot rolled, cold rolled, and coated steel sheet available. From our competitive position on the banks of the Mississippi River, we can ship to any location in the United States via barge, rail, or truck.
Nucor Hickman's Roll Mill is capable of producing hot band from 0.060" to 0.500" in thickness and widths from 36" to 64". Hickman is also one of the few North American producers of floor plate. With the addition of the Cold Mill in 1999, Nucor Hickman added Pickled and Oiled, Cold Rolled, and Hot Dipped Galvanized steel to its list of available products. |
